Hi,
I am following the tutorial provided by reallusion on how to import a daz3d charatcer.
I am following every step but the final outcome is not working.
I have noticed when the layers option comes up via import that 'gensis 8' is an option and treats its as another layer.
If i untick the layer it does not fix the problem either.

What are you trying to import (specifically)?

It appears to me at glancing that you are attempting to import a geoshell, which has to be done differently (and is very unique to the import process).  But let me know EXACTLY which Daz character and clothing items you are using in your Daz file (a screen shot of Daz would also be helpful).

Thanks for the fast reply!

I am trying to import my daz character which is build from Darius8 which is a character made from Gensis male 8.
Link can be found here: https://www.daz3d.com/darius-8
I have attached a screenshot below of my screen.
Im not trying to import any clothing at this moment in time. Just want to try and import my character!

Thank you!

Your problem is the "Grillz" stuff -- I assume this is a geoshell for tattoos or something.

Geoshells are an entirely different creature -- you can't easily import them, but you can creature a texture map from them that you then need to apply.  I have a video on this process but my advice first to you is to learn to walk before you run.  Take off those grillz and import Darius (he'll import just fine).  Then if you think you can handle it you can watch my tutorial on geoshells:

If this doesn't make sense to you let me know and I'll do another one tomorrow using grillz (if I have them -- or something similar).

THanks for the info!
I will have a look at the video and do some playing around.
The ‘grillz’ are a feature in his mouth - like a diamond mouth guard you tend to see rappers wear.

The tats are applied on his skin texture which i did myself via photoshop.

I will remove the grills and see if it helps though!

When I import my character what do I do in regards to the ‘genesis 8’ layer? I unticked it and it actually worked (there was no glitches in the import) except none of his skin texture was applied. It was a completely different skin to what he has on daz3D. I tried to change the skin textures on iclone to his original one but the mason were different - so his original skin was not matching up to his body on iclone (there was black sections etc).
