The game base model has some really ugly looking seams at the UV borders. This is caused by the exported normal maps. If you switch them off the diffuse looks fine. Is there any way to prevent this?

I would really like to know this too. It also happens when I create my own Normal map in Zbrush, bake in substance painter (or Xnormal) and bring it back into character creator. The seams however do not appear when the Normal map is baked in Substance painter.

I always get these when creating custom displacement maps in either CC or iclone. Glad I’m not alone!

Love the new skin shader in release 3.2 however, the issue with the seams in the game base model is now even more obvious. I'm astounded this has not been picked up in QA: Will this ever be fixed?

kurohtinp (11/5/2020) So, its been a year and this problem still exist and Reallusion has nothing to say about it?This thread is a year old and since then we have introduced new and improved CC3+ base characters that have resolved many issues you may see in these old threads. If you are personally having problems in the latest version please share some screenshots to show the seam issues you are having. Thanks.

I am also experiencing some strange seams appearing once I import maps, uv's etc back from zbrush. I've exhausted every possible option on the internet to try to solve it, there seems to be no solution. I notice when in the viewport when I zoom in the seams become less apparent however when I zoom out to see my full body the are highly visible.
