I have an earring attached to the avatar's head with Align "None" and Inherit all checked. I can change the pose and move the head with the puppet - the ring stays where it should be. When I export iAvatar from CC and replace a pre-existing animation in iClone with it, everything works fine, except the ring is only properly attached on the first frame. After the avatar starts moving the ring also starts moving around and inside the head and rotating seemingly randomly. The parent, Align and Inherit are the same as they were in CC. What am I doing wrong and how to fix this?

The ring IS an accessory, right? Not cloth? (You can check this in either CC3 or iClone). Needs to be an accessory.

Can you share a screen shot showing which bone it is attached to in iClone?

Okay, when you select the accessory and go to "Edit Pivot" do you see the pivot in the center of the accessory? If not, choose the center dot of that grid and then turn off edit pivot.

Are those earring have physics enabled by any chance? I have a pair earrings accessory with physics and they would behave erratic if head collision shape is not tweaked accordingly.

Those earrings are animated. Reset Scale, then Reset Transform on the first frame and all be OK. (You have to detach first though). Or, expand animation track for earrings and delete the clip if you see one.
