She looks so f***ing real. Your work is much appreciated, Tony!
How about the render time for this clip?
Hey thanks!
That one I used the up-sampling with the recent test build of Octane.
On my rig of 1 Titan Xp and 7 Pascal Titan X took about 1hr 10 for 900 frames, worked out to about 12-13 frames per minute, which was about 4.5 seconds per frame at 1080p.
This one is also 400 s/px, but instead of 4.5 is @7 seconds...
A G2F, with Daz hair, and the hair absorbs some of the renderage, so in end whereas a bald head looks clean, there is some visible pixelation as light needs to shadow and crevice.
If I were to render a moving head scene with this then I would go 800 s/px and that would be about 3hr 45.
Which, you know seems like a lot, but it also means you're not fussing in some engine for 4 hrs trying to make it look like this in the first place...
I really in the end now just look at time per project, not time per render.
I mean, just importing something into UE4 takes forever, it's unreal...
