Hopefully someone can help me with this animation, I created a 3 G character and I have him sitting behind a prop table facing the camera, I want to be able to have his arms on the table but because I have to have the prop in front of the characters sprites I'm unable to have the arm sprites on the table, hope I'm explaining this clearly enough to get some help. Thanks in advance, respectfully Fortune973

You have to add the table prop to the character in Composer Mode.
This way you can layer the table between the various body parts.
Attach it to a foot or something that will not move.

Hi Jeff, you said, "You have to add the table prop to the character in Composer Mode." I tried doing that by linking them and it didn't work, how do I add the table prop to the character?
Respectfully,

Place your character on the stage.
Select the character.
Go to Composer Mode.
Select Content Manager Tab.
Find prop to add.
Add prop.
Select prop and link to body part.
Return to Stage.
Adjust prop to position desired.
Select Character.
Open Layer Editor.
Select Left Arm from layer list.
Click on In Front Of.
Click on prop in layer list.
Repeat for LHand, RArm, RHand and any other body part desired.
Animate.

Note that the character can not move without the prop moving with that body part.

Below is a quick video showing the steps.
