I entered a support ticket but no response so I figure I might ask for some advice here:
Startup shows the 3DXchange screen and then a DOS-like window (for a split second), then nothing.I reset the system, updated graphic driver, re-installed 3DXchange. Problem still exists.Here's a video of the behavior:Happy to send you some diagnostics but don't know where to find them.Any suggestions for work arounds? I tried executing under Adminstrative mode but no luck.Kinda frustrating as I've got things I need to convert.

Hi! I know this doesn’t help but I am having the exact same issue. I really need my 3DX7 Pipeline to work right now as I need to import a custom FBX that I need to animate with facial mocap and export.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, updated drivers, restarted and still no dice. I have an Alienware 17R4 with a gtx 1080 running Windows 10.

If you have the latest 1080 drivers I'd try rolling back until at least last year (I'm still using Oct. 2017 drivers that work just fine for my Titan).

Thank you for the advice. I may need to give that a go. 
In the mean time, I may be able to create a workaround using a modified Chuck with a morph and new textures....

Have you contacted support? This seems to be a problems only with some installs. Kelley and I can run 3DXchange for example.

As already suggested, please contact Technical Support for critical issues like this and supply your dxdiag.txt. They will work with you to get the issue resolved.
