152 mm artillery shell shot at point blank range from a massive cannon?  

Well, I said:  "Hahahaha not a bleedin' chance in hell. They'd be crushed just by the weight
of this thing alone, not even taking into account that it's traveling at about 2000 ft a second."
Well, I was right, but in watching the test something unexpected happened that was  pretty surprising.

Check it out for some Sunday fun. The first half of the video is a slow motion bit with an M-4 Sherman
firing a 76mm gun but the real fun starts at 10:18 in.
