Anyone experiencing problems with loss of sound? While working on a project with multiple sound tracks in IC7 I suddenly lost all the sound. I can still see the tracks in the timeline, but no sound plays. I tried loading another project and still no sound. Checked the project settings, preferences and the speakers, but no clues there. Loaded a test file in IC5 & IC6 which worked fine in both, but again no sound when loaded into IC7. Weirdly when I rendered the test file in IC7 the sound worked in the playback. So its just not working in Realtime.
Probably not connected, because the sound loss happened hours after, but I did the CC3 update yesterday. Otherwise no other system changes. Have no idea what else to try to rectify this problem. Currently, working on a deadline, so any ideas would be most welcome. Cheers, Tony

Yeah, Tony, I think a number of us have experienced this. Best to stick to one track (and render to images and put the sound in your video editor).

Thanks, but unfortunately the test file was only one track of TTS and I now have no sound at all. It suggests to me something is now missing, but I don't know what and I don't know where to look. Tony

Problem solved - read last weeks posts from others with the same issue and as recommended the solution was the volume mixer. What a relief, back on track now (pun intended). Cheers, Tony
