It would be so much easier just to go back to the system we had before the fancy website update: With each product list the full download and the latest patch. Some users are sophisticated enough to update that way. Also, for those in areas that don't have super-fast internet, downloading once is really much more convenient if you have multiple installations to update. I recently moved from an urban to a rural area and there is is a big difference in speed.

Why can't we have both?
Although I have had good luck with the Hub lately, I do miss being able to download and keep a local copy of the files - both full installs and patches.
It's not like I'm going to pirate them. I need an internet connection and a valid license to make them functional.
As Job said, for installing on two machines (as is legally permitted per the license agreement), it's nice to only download once. And if you ever need to roll back and/or reinstall something, then you already have the files at your fingertips.
Please provide access to downloadable copies of the software, both current and past.

I too would be in favor of being able to download the patches again as was possible in the past. I did not understand today why RL deviated from this reasonable future. The RL Hub may be great for some users, but the old system was a lot better. The HUB crashes occasionally or shows no updates or just halfway on (as in the last patch of CC 3). Also, the resource package had to be reinstalled was not displayed by the hub (but was not made known by RL)

Hi Peter According to your post, the new version of CC should mean: "Delete Hidden Mesh can now be applied to meshes with merged materials." However, I have the latest version and when I go to export a character, I check the "Delete hidden mesh" box, but as soon as I click the "Merge Materials" box, it automatically greys out and unchecks "Delete hidden mesh". So unless I've misunderstood, these features are still not compatible.

While this topic is still active could RL please fix the content activation system as well. Activating the same content 100's of times is not a proper way to treat customers. Simple fix suggestion - Activate after install - lock to application serial number and or machine - happy customer - done!

wires (12/7/2018) It would be very helpful if users had access to the patch downloads - even those used by this crappy Hub - for storing on their systems. RL are becoming experts at making life as difficult for users wishing to keep their paid for software up to date. Even their brainless "full" installer can't work if a previous version is present, forcing the user to constantly uninstall and reinstall when they are denied access to a patch version.Hi Gerry You should still be able to go to Help > Check For Update to find the downloadable updates. These can then be stored on your computer if you wish. This does not work for plugins, there is no Help>Check for Update available. As you rightly say you can't download plug-in updates this way but software updates can be downloaded using Help > Check For Update.

Hi... "Delete Hidden Mesh" should be working fine with merged materials after the 3.03 update. I just tested and was able to export with "Delete Hidden mesh" checked. Are you certain you updated both the CC3 Base and CC3 Pipeline Extensions to 3.03? If you only did the base update then that will be the problem.

Can you explain more about this because you certainly shouldn't need to constantly activate your content. You should only need to do it once and that's it. Is it just one particular content pack or does this happen with all packs? Also have you been in contact with Technical Support (or used the Feedback Tracker) about this because I'm not aware of this being a common problem or one that needs a general fix.

Both are included in the Reallusion Hub under the Updates tab. no, not in my HUB
nothing more How can i get the updater for CC3.02 to CC3.03 best Hans Jörgen UPDATE: This issue should now be fixed for German account holders who have CC3 Pipeline. We do apologise for the inconvenience caused.
