EDIT 2: Cant change the frame rate! The box remains greyed out, even after checking the "super sampling" button. How do I activate the frame rate setting please?

EDIT: D'oh. Just discovered the scroll bar at the side of the export window which brings up the FPS option. Hope this helps someone else who was stuck like me!

Hi all, can sorry for such a noob question but how do I set the export frame rate on CTA 3.3  please? The on line manual shows a different export window to the one I get when I click the export button or choose "render video" from the "Render" menu. The one on the manual clearly shows an option to nominate framerate, but mine doesn't. I've attached screenshots to show the difference. Thanks! Smile

There are no options for changing the frame rate with mp4 files. You need to select another format, the manual shows that wmv is selected.

Thanks for that - I found:
A) only the AVI export format allows you to set the frame rate, and
B) that there's a scroll bar on the left to access the frame rate setting. The export button that high up in the dialogue frame makes it look like the end of the dialogue options.Smile

Actually most serious folks use image sequences, and you can set the frame rate for those.

Not sure what you mean by a scroll bar on the left, but to clarify, only AVI and Sequence Image supports custom frame rate. Both MP4 and WMV are fixed at 30fps.
