I have CTA3 and I want my seated character to stand up. I can do this but the action happens instantly. Is there a way of slowing down the change in posture? Any help would be appreciated.

You have to apply a key at the end of the sit down motion (A). This key captures the current position of the character. Then move ahead along the timeline and add another key (B) where you want the character to start standing up. Between key A and B the character will not move. Then move a little further down the timeline and place the character in a standing position (C). The character will then start standing at key B and will be standing up completely when reaching key C. Jeff

What track did you add the key to?
I'm experiencing the same thing, but from a kneel to a stand.
Frame 1: It starts out kneeling. Frame 8: I re-positioned a couple bones a few frames later. The arm moves smooth Frame 15: I added a stand pose
Between 8 and 15, the arm moves smooth, but the rest of the body glitches to the stand position at frame 15.

Hi ... you have to add keyframes for every body parts involved before the next movements occur.
