Dear Character Creator Users,

The Character Creator 3.02 update has now been officially released. 

Important: To get the full update, please use the Reallusion Hub to download.

The new updates in CC 3.02 are mainly about the "Transformer" function. From CC 3.02, users are able to bring Poser-exported V4 & M4 characters directly into CC. 

Transformer
  1. Added: Support for Poser Michael 4 and Victoria V4 ==> Know more
  2. Fixed: Crash as a result of improper bone mapping for the gloves of Michael 4 and Victoria 4 characters.
  3. Fixed: Character Creator native eyes pops out when applied to a Daz G3 Female character. (FT #5322)
  4. Fixed: Transformer Advanced mode inverts the specular map then adjusts its brightness value to fit into the Roughness channel. However, the brightness level is incorrect: should be a value of 18.
Embedded Content
  1. Fixed: Some of the lower lip vertices aren't in the right places for the neutral base in the default project.  This can cause problems and inaccuracies with morph shapes derived from this mesh.
  2. Fixed: Dislocation of the teeth and tongue upon application of the CC3 Base Male Body or Female Body morph slider.

Hey Peter, any idea when appearance editor will be fixed? I keep getting my hopes up when I see a new update has come out then getting disappointed when I see such a major feature is still broken.

I am using your software for making characters for serious game project, so using old, relatively low-quality assets then converting them to a CC3 base isn't really a viable option.

We need the abolition of export licenses
when exporting LOD plug-in highly polyreduced avatars
from CC 3 pipeline to Iclone 7 -
The remeshen is on clothes / hair from the RL content shop
not possible without export license.
In this form, the LOD PlugIn is only 50% usable (use of DAZ clothing and or other sources of purchased clothing).

Just to clarify, this isn't an issue that is broken or a bug that needs fixing. The CC3 Base skin textures are not yet compatible with the Appearance Editor and so the feature isn't available. You can use the Appearance Editor with CC3 clothing, it is only the skin that isn't compatible yet. However I can tell you the CC team are working hard to bring this to everyone as soon as possible.

If you already made an character, do you need to remake him? or will this be automatically corrected when you load him in cc3?

Can anyone else confirm crashes when transferring weights? Also, the whole app just seems more sluggish.

this version make my CC crashs when import any Daz figure using transformer. so i rolback for 3.01 i dont know why , but my cc3 just close when i try to import daz figures using transformer

Using v3.02, I imported a DAZ G8 character (first time for me) using Transformer and had no issues. I applied Weight Transfer to several items, and it worked without causing a crash.

My system has a GTX 1080 GPU with driver version 416.34. Windows 10 is at 1803 (I mention that because there seem to be compatibility problems between Nvidia drivers and certain Windows 10 versions.)
