Here are a some new renders of my project.
This is based on a modern loft that i bought from the DAZ store.
Of course i also customized it a bit.
I have converted it into a single FBX but i will add props as needed.
This was a bit easier for the start
This is the standard renderer using 4k resolution.
The light comes from the IBL atmosphere. You can see the image through the transparent windows. But it lights the complete scene.
And this is rendered in iray. I've replaced the lamp texture with an iray MDL, and added a point-light to it. But somehow it seems the light didn't render.
Well, i'm a novice but i'm learning more and more each time i use the software.
But one thing i'm afraid of is, if the render times at 1080p were about 10 minutes for this image, how long will it take to render animations in iray with iClone
Okay, i would be ok with 720p also...
PS: i normally don't want to do any post-processing of the images. If the lighting is perfect, no editing should be needed.
I am not very good at photo editing, so my goal would be to get everything perfectly right from the render.
However, i did some basic auto white-balancing in GIMP with the last image. To me, it looks a lot better. I need another IBL...
