HiEveryone.

Character Creator 3 (CC3) has been released and as far as I can say it seems to be the most powerful tool for character creation on the market at the moment. Nevertheless we are just at the beginning and even if RL invested a lot of efforts and care to make all CC1 contents compatible with CC3 there may be still some issues with some assets. That said I just wanted to let you know that I'm aware of some minor issues with my current CC morph packs when applying them to the new CC3 bases.

I'm already in the process of checking and adjusting all my current morph packs. I will do my best to release the (free) upgrade as soon as possible. I will keep you updated on my progress in this thread. Please also feel free to post any issues you encounter when applying ToKoMotion Morphs to the new CC3 base here - two heads are better than oneBigGrin.

Thanks in advance and I hope you're enjoying CC3 as much as I do. See you around.

Hi.

I just bought Kids Morph collection and I'm testing it in CC3.
I load up a new avatar "Content-Project-Clothed-Tokomotion-...kids...-Hannah" and then open scene view and selects "ToKoMo_CC_Kid_Girl_01".
I can't use GoZ on this avatar, if I use the default CC_Base the GoZ button is enabled and it works without any problem. Is it not possible to use GoZ on tokomotion avatars?

Is it possible to use CC_Base and use the morph sliders to create Hannah?

Hi Tanobi.

Thanks for your feedback. Even I haven't used the GoZ feature yet, I guess it will only work with CC3 Base characters. So when loading Hannah from the Project Folder please click on "Convert CC1 to CC3" in the Modify panel. GoZ should work then:

And yes, you can also use the morph sliders on the CC_Base to create the characters. But please "Reset" the currently used morphs first and start from a neutral CC_Base.

Hope that helps.

Hi again!

Converting the characters from CC1 to CC3 works, but when I try to change facial expressions, it doesn't look that good...
Is there a way to fix the issues when converting the assets?

No morph sliders touched, only converted from CC1 to CC3

Hi Tanobi.

As the mouth/lips of the characters are very small/thin compared to the default morph some smiling expressions can be very tricky. I would suggest to reduce the Expressiveness slider a bit (between 50-75 should work) so that the smile isn't so extreme. You may also tweak the individual muscles of the mouth using the Muscles tab afterwards. Hope that helps.

Will your Stylized Character Morphs be officially updated for CC3? There's a bundle on sale now (those morphs, plus the Street Fashion base clothing), but I'm a bit concerned about the fact that they seem to be CC1-based.

HiHookflash.

Thanks for your question. Yes, I will give all my older morphs an official makeover for CC3. The only thing is, that I want to wait till the new Appearance Editor is available as I really want to include some updated 4K textures as well. It will be released a bit later this year and I'm afraid my updates will not be available before fall 2019 then. Nevertheless I think the automatic conversion of CC1 content in CC3 works really well, also for my older morphs Smile. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks.
