According to the help I am supposed to see a viseme track after I apply an audio file to a character.

I selected the character using the little checkbox selector, but I expanded everything and there is not a Viseme track.

The lip movements appear at the right place on the timeline, but the audio starts randomly playing a few hundred up to 500 frames too early, and I can't find it to move it or delete it.

Thanks

You mean you do not have Viseme to select from the Popup menu?

Thanks 4u2ges !!!!!
So left click on the actor's arrow down circle .....
Are you good with that Data??

So, assuming you can now 'access' the viseme track (and the 'voice' and 'lips' sub tracks) - you can now 'delete' them if you wish....
OR ....
If you 'left mouse drag highlight' all the contents of the 'lips' track, then 'left click hold' on the *none* box (1st item in the lips track), - you can 'slide' the position of all the lip-shapes (to alter the lip sync timing)..... (sliding to the > right will *delay* the lip movement compared to the audio track).
So the 'wav' file (immediately above) stays put without moving....

Yeah, I figured it out. I had been clicking the little bullet list icon and didn't see it.

Thanks

Well now I am ready to tweak the lip syncing, but I have to go to bed soon so I will play some more with this tomorrow.

They sure did a good job of hiding that.

Like this .....  I find with a memory like mine - this is a must....
