I am brand new to learning IClone, and I understand a motivation to sell hair content packs, but hair (along with clothing and shoes) is the biggest thing I feel is missing from IClone / Character Creator.

Characters hair should be longer sometimes, and shorter after a hair cut. A brush and some mousse (think Something about Marry Hair Gel scene always comes to mind), and for lady's, curls and perms seems like this should be built in, or at least an add-on or something.

I am too new to IClone to try building a plug-in (yet), but what languages are they built in, and is IClone extensible where 3rd parties can develop plug-ins?

I purchased these products IClone, Character Creator & 3DExchange, so I have no concern for a freemium type model, nor do I think this would kill all sales. If I can buy something in 3 minutes or create it in 3 hours, I will take the 3 minutes for $10 or whatever any day. Someone else with more time on their hands than money might create their own items, but these same people are probably not big spenders on content (students for example).

I was turned off by DAZ's model of giving you the car but the gas is $200 per gallon if you want to drive it, or even just sit in it. So much, I never even installed their product and chose IClone.

The constant reply I've gotten whenever I've mentioned hair creation or hair styling utilities in iC7/CC3 is "iClone/Character Creator are not modeling apps."
