For my latest project i decided a child with "Down Syndrome/Trisomy21" should have a particular role.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Down_syndrome
Any ideas/suggestions to achieve this trustworthy/reliable? I don't want it to look bad or funny... I have big respect for those people, worked with several of those kids in my job at school. Because of it's genetic disorder; the presence of a third copy of chromosome 21, the child will have some special powers/skills and be able to give the story an important direction/drive… Any help appreciated!

What do you think of this fellow? I've used only the standard CC sliders, Click on the pic to enlarge.

I usually see this accompanied by a smaller overweight body shape, and a less 'spiffy' look. So the images look really authentic,
One thing, for expressions, I noticed of this population, is that they always have a smile, or they don't have a smile where you would expect them to. ie - They walk into a quiet setting with no humor and the person will be smiling, or everyone around them is socially laughing, and they have a straight face. As in, not typical oscillation of facial expressions. Like the smile is more raw, not really a mask, and this, ironically, winds up appearing askew.
Nice work, looks like a lot of heart will go into this.

And, yes, since i "accompanied" at work (Basic School) at least 7 Children with "Down Syndrome" in the past 10 years, you are right with the "smile" and the "overweight body shape"...
