I'm hoping that we aren't deserted as we were with IC6. Don't get me wrong, I love IC7 but, IC6 was
basically a waste of money, well except for the unlimited lighting which was awesome.

I know, I'll get some nasty feedback for saying that, but the truth is, there wasn't hardly any clothing unless
you were making animations set in a modern setting. Now, with IC7 we get a pretty good range of 'period' clothing
and I thank Reallusion for them. They are absolutely beautiful. I especially love the sorcerers hat. OMG it is such a
cool hat. MORE!! of these amazing clothing meshes please. As good or better than Daz guys, keep up the great work.

But, now I fear that with Reallusion making progress on IC8, we have seen the end to interesting clothing meshes
that can be used with IC7. I understand you want to move people onto the next upgrade, and I'll get there as money allows,
but can't you put out a few more designs before you move on to the next big thing? Those of us on limited budgets would be
most appreciative. You don't have to produce a lot. A pair of ordinary peasant shoes or boots, another shirt, a pair of ordinary people pants
something military, a military tunic or a gambeson would be sweet. Oh and hats, people wore hats in the past. Some peasant clothing
for workers like blacksmiths, innkeepers and the like would also be very helpful.
I know my list kept growing but just a few of those would go a long way.

Anyway thanks for listening.

Cool pete

No one knows.  Relax, they are still working on 7.

And I'm sure Pete is happy, now that we can easily import and use Daz clothing in iClone via CC3 Pipeline (because all his wishes, and more, have been granted, at a much cheaper cost to boot).

iClone 7 is still in active development with lot's of great things still to come via free updates. The next version is still  a long way off.

This has always been a concern of mine too with any avatar generation change. I just build up my collection for a certain gen avatar, then then next gen avatar comes out and I have to rebuild the wardrobe at considerable expense.

However, I'm thinking that from now on, as iClone avatars are actually CC characters, clothing will generally be compatible with any generation CC avatar as these avatars are designed to fit to clothing, or the other way around.

For example the new generation CC3 characters could use CC2 clothing
Peter, correct me if I'm wrong, but hopefully that is the case

I didn't see this trhead till today. Thank to Peter to answer to my question about a render update . I understand that it will be far away.
Anyway every update, new add on,new plugins, new clothes/ props to have a better workflow and better visual are always welcome for me.
Today I could make this characters without modeling/texturing/rigging skills. It's just Daz morphs imported in CC3 with CC1,2,3, Hires scan wery fast.

And I can made descent animation with very very fast process whithout knowing high skills.

Impossible to achieve whith Iclone 5 or 6....

Yes that is correct. The latest CC3 Base characters can still use all previous CC1 and CC2 content. Smile
