Hi, I'm new to CT3. Have skimmed through the manual, watched most of relevant tutorials and searched the forum. I've seen the video on how to create a custom C3 character but it didn't go into how to lipsync automatically. The only video tutorials I've seen using the lipsync were with the C3 character with the big red nose. How is the best way to create a custom character that can do the auto-lipsync? Thanks.

Hi... The process of adding a voice to a character is the same for all head types. There are four options you can choose from (Record Voice, Text to Speech, Audio file or an existing CrazyTalk script). Please click HERE to find out how you do each of the four options.

To create a G3 character that can do auto-lipsynch, you have to create the mouth sprites and put them in their respective layer/ folder. Try exporting a G3 character as a PSD file to your image editor and study how the folders/layers are named. Naming the layers in the mouth folder incorrectly can also affect the auto-lipsynch. Thanks.

thanks vepop, that's what I was looking for. Do you know if there's a certain Photoshop version or later required? I have CS3 Extended Version 10.0, which is kind of old. Importing PSD assets doesn't seem to be working.

sorry vepop. I was able to export a C3 character to Photoshop. Yesterday I wasn't able to import PSD assets though. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Thanks for your help.

Thanks a lot for the advice. Disregard my last couple posts. I think I'm getting it!
