3DXChange - Do I need Pro or Animation Pipeline?

I want to be able to create a character in Character Creator. Use the lip-sync and facial puppet on it and export the facial animation and character to Unity as an FBX.

Thats all I need.

Do I need the 3DXchange Pro, or do I need the 3DXchance Animation Pipeline?

In order to export FBX files with animation you will need to use 3DXchange Pipeline. Depending on the model that you wish to export you may also need to purchase Export versions for the assets.
