hi. I made a character in daz3d and imported/mapped all facial features. Everything looks perfect and callibration is fine EXCEPT an inactive foot thumb bone (both feet) that makes a weird effect when animated. Please tell me how to make this active (white like other bones i guess ??). I will really appreciate your help. Thanks

There is not mapping for separate toes in 3DXchange. There is the foot bone, and then the toe bone that is meant for all toes to move the same. Try setting the toe (black) to the next bone up, that is common to all the toes. This may not be quite perfect in this case either though.

Here a tutorial on manual characterization. Since the DAZ characters are auto converted, you only need to change the toes. They are the little extensions off the ends of the feet in the characterization panel. Click on the toe pictogram, and then the bone in your character that is right above the toes in the skeletal hierarchy. It is the one that divides into 5 bones leading to each toe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVozZvu9Rfw
Holler if need more help!
