I know this was asked a lot Sept - Dec 2017, but I can't find any answer!

I've tried exporting humanoid animations direct out of iclone 7.2 and 3dxchange pipeline to import into Unreal. All the exports contain a root bone, but it just stays at the frame 0 location! This is of course defeats the purpose for Unreal because Unreal Engine needs to transfer the transform data to the capsule, but it has none - it's all still in the hips.

How can I get the root bone to travel with the avatar when exporting from iclone or 3dxchange? Hoping that there is an answer now : /

I'm not sure why iclone even includes a root bone if it doesn't do anything?
