Hi Everyone, I was wondering if there is a way to export out a text file from Crazytalk 8 after I have used the lipsyc part of the editor. Looking for a text file that has the phonemes used and the times they are called. Thanks for any help. Ted

Hi Ted, Sadly exporting to a text file isn't possible. Once you add text to speech to a character the text can't be edited.

Hi Peter, Thank you for the prompt reply. The .RLTalk file that can be exported from Crazy Talk 8 seems to have the information we are seeking. Is this proprietary? Is there a way of getting a text file from the RLTalk file? Thanks.

The RLTalk files are proprietary and the text included in not user editable I'm afraid. When working with text to speech files it is always advised to preview first to ensure everything sounds right before processing into to an RLTalk script file.

Okay Peter, thanks.
We were looking for Crazytalk to be the front end of an inhouse proprietary tool getting built here at Hidden Path. The hope was to quickly create the phoneme files with your software and export a text file out to give our inhouse tool this phoneme, timing and viseme info (via some text file) exported from your program. Preferably in a batch.
Thanks for clarifying.
Best,
Ted
