Just to clarify. This poll is only to establish whether or not I, as a content creator and others who develop content, should continue releasing content in both iClone 6.xx and 7.xx formats. If there are still sufficient users of iClone 6.xx then I will release content for both platforms.
Thank you
Bob

Col. - Thanks for the poll, I voted. IMHO, I think you should stay focused on PBR content. Although I may still use both versions from time to time, when I do buy assets, I am looking for iC7/CC2 or above. Hope this helps your future efforts, your stuff is always GR8.  ~V~

My kids use iC5 and I use iC7, so I often need to ask developers if they can sell an iC5 version, or export an fbx version so it's not so fiddly to do it myself after purchasing, and because some sellers don't sell an export version of their content.

My kids still love playing with iC5 due to the much easier interface, so I plan on keeping it  going for several years to come.

I only voted for both platforms as I use version 6 on my laptop because version 7 is a little to heavy for it, but when I can afford to update to a higher end laptop I would use only iC7 on it as well.

I think i would be great if iClone saved to the lowest iClone version that supports all the features used. So, for example, if the content was a simple mesh prop with basic colours it might automatically save it as iC5 content (because, I assume, iC6 and iC7 can always used iC5 content). If the content used some feature that was introduced in iC6, such as RL6 character, then it would automatically save as iC6 content. And similarly if the content used some iC7 feature, such as PBR, then it would save as iC7 content.
I have a feeling that a lot of content (especially props) that don't use PBR that are made in iC7 could probably be iC6 or even iC5 content but because they are made in iC7 they are (presumably) not able to open in iC6 or iC5.
If automatic detection is too much to ask for then a manual save as iC5, iC6 or iC7 option would be nice (similar to how CC2 can export iAvatars for iC6 or iC7).
