G3 characters only have two angles, but you can use Horizontal Flip to modify your character.

OK, I'll ask again! Why do G3 characters have only 2 angles to work with?

G3 characters only have one angle.
What you are probably looking at are the provided characters in a F (Front) and S (Side) angle.
Each of those "angles" is a different character.
You can use the horizontal flip on say the S (Side) character to get it to face either left or right.
A Front and Side angle are the most used angles so only those angles were provided.
For other angles you would need to create the angle you desire by drawing the character at that angle.

G2 characters have 8 angles but the characters are harder to create.

G3 can have many angles and as many as you like. But you need to create them. The same procedure as for G2 character.
G3 character is easier to work with and the result is better (as to my knowledge).

G3 characters are composed of just 1 angle. For every new angle, you have to make a new character.
This is good for times when you need a specific angle that a G2 character doesn't provide.

So, in other words, G3s are harder to make, but easier to work with inside of CTA? I guess that makes sense!

G3 characters are easier to make than G2 characters.

What do you find hard about making G3 characters?
You create the characters parts on different layers using any drawing/photo program that export PSD files.

I knew someone would take that comment out of context!
I simply meant that more work goes into it because each character/angle has to be created as a separate character file, not that it was difficult.
