Someone with NO fashion sense and outstanding graphic skills took alot of time to produce this pack
Maybe other IClone users can make something out of this pack, which I don't see.
I have always tried to be supportive of RL applications and content.
Reluctantly, I am going to pass on this one.

Looks well-made to me. My clothing doesn't have to look present-day, so I may get this.

Think its a bit of a odd mix of cloths on offer, apart from the jackets its not what i would call street fashion but the  quality does look great . Your better of getting  the essential bundle are pro outfits bundles IMO.
I think the learning resource is the best part of this package.

The creators of these clothes are Marvelous Designer experts. The quality is crazy good.

Exactly! Pipeline learning was the main purpose when we planned this pack!
The cloth bases we chose from CG Elves are the ones we don't have in the past, which provides user the variety of cloth choices, also be a good design reference for developers. This is might be the reason why it seems to be an odd combination to you.

I do think CG Elves can help users in two parts
Cloth base library: select a piece of cloth you like and follow the learning resource to convert it into CC cloth
Tutorials: solid MD training tutorials to know how to create different kinds of cloth starting from scratch

I purchased this mainly for the jackets and the learning resource and I like the quality of the jackets but the resource was a let down  because it's only intended for advanced modelers and should not be considered a teaching tool!
It is basically a six step process for professionals to streamline a process  that they are already familiar with! 
The hardest thing for me is acquiring the assets necessary to make the videos I would like to make so learning how to make some of those assets with affordable tools is preferable and I have learned more (for free) from Rampa Delearna and Warloard lol Thank GOD for those of you here at the forum who give the time and effort to help us puny little hobbyist
