For my experience of working with CTA3 I not happy with all methods of carrying of emotion and head rotation.

Face Puppet propose powerful but  narrow way of  carrying of emotion, with Face Puppet characters shake his  head like a horse.

With the Face Kay Editor we have good set of emotion templates and full control of each face part. But it's very difficult to manipulate face part step by step. If we try to use few of face parts in one manipulate this did not bring good result.

Due to my experience, I strongly ask you to make Face Carrying  tols with using Face Motion Capturing like in Adobe Character Animator.
