I have a scene where a character is driving a car. I link the character to the vehicle and use the reach target function via primitive shapes to have him turn the steering wheel. It all works... sometimes.
I keep running into all kinds of issues when the vehicle is moving: physics on hair and clothes makes them distort or disappear, so I have to turn it off. When moving above a certain speed, the clothes flicker and disappear. When the camera looks at the character from the front, all is fine - when it moves to the side, the character disappears. I won't even start on the animation problems: weird jitters, character jumping to different position, etc., all when the vehicle is moving.
Do you have any tips for making characters in/on moving objects work well? Is linking the wrong approach? I would be grateful for any info!

And all this happens even when you render-out your scene in the "By Frame" mode?
