Hair imported into Unreal Engine 4 could look better

I haven't been able to get the hair on models imported from iClone 6 / 3DXChange 6 into Unreal Engine 4.15 to look right.
As you can see below, the facial skin texture looks great; almost photorealistic in my view. This is after extensively tweaking the skin shaders within Unreal.
However, I can't seem to find a way to make the hair look better than this, and the visual quality of hair seems to be the weak spot in the otherwise excellent visual result.
Does anyone know a way to get hair looking better in Unreal Engine 4 using shaders? If not, I suppose it's simply a matter of waiting for Reallusion to create better looking hair content?
