I'll just jump right into it.
3DXchange currently does not support FBX exports to Marmoset Toolbag. In order to successfully export a Character Creator model to Marmoset so that it can play animations, go this route:
1) In Character Creator, go to 'Export FBX' then 'Clothed Character'.
2) Check the option 'Convert Bone Structure for Unreal 4 Rig'.
