planetstardragon (1/27/2017) @Roberto, if you look at the product page, they added dates under the videos, next video is slated for March.
and yes, the api will be interesting, but i'll save my excitement for after i see how much access is allowed.
Thanks Ricky, I did not notice the schedule for the next video. Nice to have you back: I haven't see you around here for a while, and sadly no more fighting with your historical opponent match player (no names... ) But now that you are back, I wait for a new match... a bit kind of like Federer vs. Nadal at Australian Open: a deja-vu match between two "Super-Big Oldies" that promises a lot of show and spectacle!
Cheers
Roberto

Kool stuff i love it i just hope that facial system will not be "ONLY" with Faceware Live. depth camera "kinect" is still pretty great tool and should be used for facial mocap. plus Faceware Live Server is more than $2000 and its very complicated "i used the PLE edition and i hated it, too much tweaking and almost hand animated" i hope at least importing Mocap data "fbx or bvh" will be allowed which will be awsome thank you

I think it's a better policy. There's something called enabling, which had to effect of turning any thread into a fight. It got old after a while.

Apologies, I usually read through all the post pages before I ask most questions, but today I'm rendering out a VR fight scene and looking at this on the side. WIP 2 looks awesome. I'm really looking forward to making characters become 'more alive' close up. For VR and intro movies/trailers it's an absolute <insertdeityhere>send. I'm still aching in the soul for information regarding softcloth being exportable physx data. Is there any chance of this in IC7, has there been any word? Hair, clothes, heck I could go on all day...it's all so much easier if it's affectable in game engines.

And IC7 looks like it's going to rock in all sorts of ways! I really hope the features I want out of it are in there, but even if they are specifically not (to which I will raise a fuss) I'm absolutely sure I'll be able to create some fantastic stuff with it! And it's still January, so Happy New Year!

Yes, it does look promising. It does look like it needs some simple tweaks, those expressions matter imo. - that would just be a matter of adding a few morphs in the default settings- the presets in ic6 made it very hard to make cartoonish smiles without making a big project of it. Namely the teeth breaking through the mesh. Happy New Year to you too!

It looks very good for the most part. I'm not sure how easy it will be to work with and I definitely don't want to have to do morphs in Maya or Blender, but all-in-all a step in the right direction.
