I dont know if that is in usd I assume so (even though I am living in Canada I always assume american dollars online unless it specifies otherwise) The hitfilm is a pretty good deal for me, but I dont really need it other then for the sparkle and special effects so I am trying to decide which bundle right now (pipeline only upgrade or the hitfilm one) I might end up never using the hitfilm as my present video editor has everything except for the flashy particle effects even it has 3d titles etc so might not be worth it for me dunno... looking for the WIP videos to make a final decision It's all in USD. About Hitfilm: although it's nice for effects, I found it less than ideal as editing program compared to Sony Vegas. There is Hitfilm Express (free), which may give you an idea if it's worth it.

Note that the new HitFilm 2017 now integrates with Sony Vegas Pro 14: "HitFilm Pro and Vegas Pro 14 are together at last – so you can send any clip on the Vegas timeline directly to HitFilm or any HitFilm project to Vegas instantly. Project updates save automatically, so you can rapidly iterate and preview your work." Jeff

Very cumbersome. Its a compositor and for adding effects, but if you just are looking for a regular editor dont get it its lousy at that I found

I reckon Vegas is the best 'editor', I just hope Magix don't screw it (or Acid) up

I have used Magix audio and music software for several years. Ok AFAIKT, but support sucks. Since Sony Pro 8 I have used it. I will wait and see on SV 14. Magix has had a movie edit application for a long time, never came to par with Sony.

Sounds tempting however, I'll wait. No system specs, no new features lists, bug fixes, etc. A little early to be collecting money from your users (for a mystery product) I think. Like other members here in this forum I have spent thousands of dollars on Reallusion software, props and characters and each time a new 'deal' comes along I am a bit taken back by Realussion's refusal to treat it's big money spending long time customers to a special deal. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE iClone... (Just don't like your marketing team very much - and I own a marketing company) I make good money using iClone to create content for my clients, but for now iClone 6 Pro works just great for what I need it for and unless something spectacular is included with iClone 7... OR I begin to feel like Reallusion appreciates my business... I'll just sit on the fence and wait until something comes up that I just have to have and I guess I'll pay whatever price I have to pay.

Hey I am new and I rarely post on the real illusion forums. I would like to know what the new features are before I commit to IClone 7. That said - I have been looking at using IClone with Unreal Engine 4 for game related projects. Would the IClone 7 EULA / license agreement prevent me from using figures made with CC 1.6 with Unreal Engine in a Game or Simulation like application? For the most part I am sold on the Idea of IClone and Character Creator. But this is something that I need to know before I purchase. It would be nice to know about any game dev specfic featrue coming to IClone 7 or any other realillusion products. Thank you for your time, Headclot

Alasandro (11/22/2016) ... I'll just sit on the fence and wait until something comes up that I just have to have and I guess I'll pay whatever price I have to pay. You'll still get the "Member's" price, just not the pre-order price, so the penalty for delaying probably wont' be too bad.

HeadClot (11/23/2016) Hey I am new and I rarely post on the real illusion forums.
I would like to know what the new features are before I commit to IClone 7. That said - I have been looking at using IClone with Unreal Engine 4 for game related projects. For the most part I am sold on the Idea of IClone and Character Creator. But this is something that I need to know before I purchase. It would be nice to know about any game dev specfic featrue coming to IClone 7 or any other realillusion products.Welcome! One key feature for iC7 is PBR (physically based render) support. We've seen a couple images from it a long time ago, but we are way overdue for more information on what else will be in the new version. Many features have been discussed, some have been alluded to by Reallusion, but we need some official announcements, screen shots, and teaser/demo video clips. Without them, we're going to be doing a lot of guessing and speculating. As for the licensing question, I'm not an expert on that area but I believe you need the "Pipeline" license to do what you want. It's the most expensive license because the assets are leaving the iClone world and going other places, unlike when you make a movie and the actual avatars and props remain on your computer when you post a video to YouTube. Good luck and please share with us what you decide to do. Hope to see you around.
