Hi there

My kids are absolutely mad for this guy called Steve from the YT channel 'wow English'

Have a look at this video:

https://youtu.be/yT4XQ65GmXY

From a shooting perspective, he definitely uses green screen for him and that bird puppet. But what software do you think he is using to create animations?

I reckon he's drawing the backgrounds and props in Flash and then something like Crazy Talk Animator for all of the moving parts etc. Look at when he's sat in that little cart and the layering i.e. he's inside it rather than in front or behind it. I don't think this is After Effects or ASP?

Anyone see any tell tale signs of how he's creating these video animations? I'd really appreciate some insights Smile

Cheers

No. This looks more like After Effects. He uses tracking, a lot of green screen, and other things that CTA doesn't really offer or do well. I mean you could probably do some things like this in CTA but I am not sure how far you'd go.

If your kids are super fans of this kind of thing i'm sure you could get CTA and do something similar with some of Reallusions other tools. Faster than you'd be able to learning something like After Effects or Premiere, etc.
