Hey guys,
I was curious if the Neuron plugin is compatible with Daz characters imported into iClone through 3DXchange?
Is it just as smooth / seamless?

Many thanks,

-TG

That's an excellent question. I sure hope so.

This is too bad and a real deal-breaker for me. The resolution on iClone characters is simply too low for my uses, and customization is limited. Hopefully this issue will be addressed quickly. I'd love to use motion capture for my animations.

I have actually been pleased with the results I have experienced so far using converted custom DAZ avatars with my motion captured files. I think all of my characters are DAZ avatars, so I can't say for sure that the Iclone figures might not show some slight improvement, but I doubt it.

There have been some issues, but I think they are related to me learning how to best use the hardware, and not related to the avatars.

I'll try to post some samples here in a day or so.

Oh, please do! I'd love to know if it works. Smile

The resolution on iClone characters is simply too low for my uses...

Do you say that because the texture you see on iClone characters are NOT as detail as the Daz Characters?
Using an image editor you can texture characters that are super low resolution with excellent detail.

Example: Your beautiful Daz characters has more polygons (on one hand) than this entire characters total poly count.
....and this character is feature rich with high detailWow "Using only a 2048 x 2048 texture map" Wink

The texture detail on your character is great, but in my opinion the low-poly count makes it look too blocky.
