Hey guys, I ran into a problem and have no idea what's wrong. I am working on a scene inside a plane , using 72 props and 9 Avatars so far. 8 are sitting passengers, all slightly animated, one is the stewardess, talking to 2 of the passengers and walking around. I also have 3 Cameras in the scene and at the moment only 3 lights. Two more Avatars are planed to go into the scene, they are main characters for the scene. Everything worked fine so far, but then IClone crashed and shut down. Usually no problem, just start over, load the project and just keep on working. Not this time. Now I have no Avatars in the Timeline showing anymore. Everything else is there, but I am not able to get my Avatars back. I can choose the Cloth or shoes and got them into the Timeline, but the Avatars are not showing. All the animations are there, but nothing is shown in the timeline so I can not go and change anything.
I started a new project an guess what, the single Avatar i use is not showing in the timeline. What is wrong? Some hidden preferences I do not know about somewhere? I use IClone Pro V.6.52 3429.1 on Win 10, i7 3.4 GHz PC (HP) with 24 gb , GForce 650TI 2MB (old , but workes fine). Any suggestions?

I just restarted everything and used an older save from my recent work, 3 steps ahead . Now I have the Avatars back in the Timeline, but in this version I have only 6 on the plane. They ate type 5, 6 and CCs . It must have something to do with the saved file, but now I can start new projects and the avatars show up there as well. it is a bit strange.....

Yes Jollyro, I just ran into the same problem just now.  I decided to fine tune my avatars using the timeline, and they wouldn't pop up. I then loaded some old projects to see if I was doing something wrong, and no avatars are on the timeline. I re-booted the computer and I was able to get the avatars on the timeline on a old project. Then I loaded that project again, but a earlier version and I still get no avatars on the timeline again. I can get props and other things though, I'm wondering if it's a memory or project limit thing? I then loaded a old small file program again, and I can't get those two avatars on the timeline as before. I just came on here to see if this was a known problem and I saw your post, thanks.

Timeline issues have been reported and are being worked on. For those who need it there is a temporary 6.53 patch. PM Peter.

Problem seems to have been solved with the latest iClone 6.53 release today.
