Why is it that if for example I am on Frame 200 on the timeline and then insert an image or a prop or a character - it still shows up at frame 1?
My only workaround is to make it invisible until Frame 200. 
it seems to me that this it should come in wherever I am on the timeline. 
Am I missing something? Perhaps my settings aren't correct?

Hi.. In CrazyTalk Animator all characters and props will appear in your scene from frame 1. Then as you have been doing you just hide them until you want them to appear. This is the way CTA works so you are not missing anything. You should find no problems using this method even if it doesn't quite feel natural to you.
