Darth_angelus, your mocaps are amazing! The one you posted above, the SpreeTest, is it raw data, or is it edited within iclone? How much time did it take you?

Thankyou It was recorded directly into iClone and I did do a little bit of editing there. Mostly just to correct some minor clipping and lining up the hands on the lightsaber, as the left hand drifted a little from the right in places. It was just a simple matter of going through the animation, finding places that weren't right and using the "edit motion layer" tool to make adjustments. The editing took about 15-20 minutes though, so it was very quick.

Very nice Darth!
Did you use an actual prop to get your hand position and movement correct?

Yeah I did. Used a toy lightsaber. It definitely helped having a prop in my hand to get the movement right. Pretending it's there just doesn't work the same.

I have two PN suits now. It's not perfect but they work pretty neat. You really have to learn how they work and what they can't do. In this example you see the elbows disapearing in the body. This is due to the bodyshape of the characters used. More real life shaped bodies don't exibit this problem. Also, clapping hands is problematic with these characters. Yes, I danced seven times.
