With the panoramic feature of iClone 6.5 I was wondering...
Is there a sky sphere that has a properly setup UV map that I can use in iClone that allows a 360 panoramic view that can be viewed by a camera in the sphere?
I would love to use a custom background for scenes with large windows inside a room or a panning driving scene, or even a open cockpit biplane scene.

The 360-degree sky prop will work.

The only problem I encountered was the texture is correctly displayed only on the outer side of the globe so if you have a scene with a store with writing on it for example then all the letters are inverted. So I had to use Blender to make a sphere and flip its UV map and made one that displayed correctly from the inside.

I included a file of a sphere prop that displays the UV maps correctly. The texture is © and not mine.
Note: I didn't set the globe texture setting Self Illumination, so you'll need to slide it to 100 to remove its shadow.

There are also little buttons in iClone to flip and rotate the textures as needed. They hide in the UV and tiling section.

Oh! I see now, "Mirror H" corrects that.
Got it!
Thanks!
