The only problem I encountered was the texture is correctly displayed only on the outer side of the globe so if you have a scene with a store with writing on it for example then all the letters are inverted. So I had to use Blender to make a sphere and flip its UV map and made one that displayed correctly from the inside.
I included a file of a sphere prop that displays the UV maps correctly. The texture is © and not mine.
Note: I didn't set the globe texture setting Self Illumination, so you'll need to slide it to 100 to remove its shadow.
