The ability to adjust the export options during Gif export would be a great feature to have.
Much to the work is done for web distribution and the way things are now any type of optimization of gif has to be done using external software.
It would be nice if we could have the ability to adjust for colors 32, 64, 128 etc, also Dithering, and so on.
