I have a Samsung computer with Intel i5 core, windows 10 x64, 8 gigs ram, Legacy BIOS, Latest DirectX 11, and iclone 6 simply does not open. It tells me to change the proram settings to DirectX 9. I haven't been able to do it. I have Directx 11. What can I do? The demo worked perfectly, but the full installation is not working.

I can not understand why I should switch to an older DirectX. The program claims to work with DirectX 11. The demo worked with DirectX11. If I switch to DirectX9, some of my newer programs may not work. Why does iClone 6 not work with DirectX 11? Iclone 5 did. The demo did.

The switch would only be for iClone. What is your card?

I am not sure specifically, but it is a 2 gig intel graphics card. It came with the computer. It works with extremely demanding programs, such as Magix Video Pro. Could the problem be Windows 10?

I'm surprised you could run the demo, because iClone requires an AMD or NVIDIA GPU, according to the requirements: http://www.reallusion.com/iclone/iclone_requirements.aspx. It may be that you need to enable the NVDIA or AMD GPU (if present) as explained here: https://forum.reallusion.com/Topic212526-386-1.aspx . EDIT: How to run iClone under DX 9: Select: iClone Graphics Mode Selection: Check DirectX 9, and click OK.

Thanks, it worked. The program is much slower than with my other computer, using DirectX 11 with AMD graphics and processor. But this is what I have in my office. It doesn't seem I can install Character Creator. Is there a way to install it with an Intel card?

You should be able to install CC and run it, because a DirectX 9 option was added. But CC may be more demanding. Mind you, I'm just another user, so if it doesn't work you may have to resort to Technical Support.

gramon55 (6/20/2016) Thanks, it worked. The program is much slower than with my other computer, using DirectX 11 with AMD graphics and processor. But this is what I have in my office. It doesn't seem I can install Character Creator. Is there a way to install it with an Intel card? What is the problem when you try and install Character Creator? Do you receive an error message? If so please post a screenshot of the message. Thanks.
