Hi everyone, I am trying to animate wheels in iclone but it seems very hard. I have tried to follow the turorials but I cant get the right things selected and deselected and it just seems very diffucult.
Is there a better way to do this? A lot of features seem just so diffucult that it's not worth the time. I'm no big modeling guy, and If I want to get the best out of sketchup I want to animate. Please tell me an easier way to make wheels go round on a sketchup model car. I've tried and tried and I can't seem to do it. The flippin models aren't labled tire or door of course.. If anyone knows an easy way please let me know if not I will just forget it or pay somebody to do this silly stuff for me.

It's not that I'm lazy, please understand. BUt I am a writer who is guilty of trying to wear to many hats...lol. I think it best to let others animate the props for me and just do the animating and storyline which is actually what I do well. If anybody can show an easier way that they have discovered that would be great, but if not I will just contract the models out. I need someone to produce  set of runestones, Armenan that is so I guess I'm headed to Upwork.

That's a Low Poly Free Tire I have on the Reallusion Marketplace.  It can be used on Sketchup Models, but you have to remove all the parts that are included in the Sketchup Model as the Rolling portion.

The Wheels once animated either forward or back can also be attached to a dummy and then merged as a collected version to create a set of individual motions for the sets created and merged.  It takes some effort, but building the editions in a Library always does.  Every Library out there started with one book and the volumes were added later.

Send me a P.M. if interested in one-on-one assistance via Skype.  Most of what you mentioned is what I do already, but I do have openings that can be scheduled.
