Is the clothing TIED to the character you create, or is it swappable like all the previous character versions? For example if you create a guy with boots, jeans, and a t-shirt. Can you remove the shirt & boots, and swap out the jeans for swim trunks so that he doesn't swim with all his clothes on?.

Yes! You can do that. Not only can you save different configurations in the CC, but you can also save the clothing separately in iClone. There is even a "conform" panel available in iClone if you need it. So.....If you save some CC shorts in iClone, you could load them onto your character wearing pants, and they would take the place of the pants. If they are underwear, they'll apply under existing pants. You can also delete a piece of clothing right in iClone and the skin/clothing underneath it will reappear if it was hidden.
