I propose the inclusion of a universal heavy outlier function that places an outline on the outer edge of any selected character or object. This would be a separate outline not related to the characters "outline" in render style. This is a very common and popular technique that is used to add style to a character and create additional separation between the background elements and the character.
Note this type of outline is only place on the outer edge of a character and does not intercept any of the inside line work or interferes with any of the interior artwork of the character. Its strictly added to a characters silhouette.
Image one is the default neutral state.
Image 2. is the character with thicker outline as provided by the current outline feature in CTA. While it has its uses, in most cases it just lends itself to amateurish looking artwork.
Images 3,4, and 5 demonstrate the character with the heavy outline applies at various degrees of thickness...
Amazing how such a little modification can make a character look 10 times more professional.
