One of the things sorely missing is the ability to create totally custom characters ala DAZ 3D, but for 2D. I know it'd probably be significant work, but it sure would be helpful to create custom characters using a slider based system as opposed to trying to build a character either through individual import of sprites, or even the Flash/DrawPlus templates. Even the individual body piece content packs from RL don't offer any true unique character builds...

you would only end up with generic procedural based designs. I wouldn't mind it if the results where open enough that i can import the generated content into flash and further modify it. But ultimately a 2d program that can really do all that effectively would rely heavily on thousands ofp redesigned hand drawn sprites to use as its base content.
