I want to animate a logo and thinking about more arms or legs.
How to start this? I am still a beginner.

There's no way to add additional bones to CTA characters.  However, you could build the additional arms/legs with props, and a nested hierarchy and pivot points so it appears as a fully functioning arms/legs. I think someone (either Vidi or Ibis) did a video on building pose-able props using this method.  The thing you'll need to remember is there will be no IK (Inverse Kinematics) possible, you'll have to keyframe the additional arm/leg movements with FK (Forward Kinematics) manually, and none of the built in animations will use the additional arms/legs.

Here's that video:

Any animation you create for these rigged props can be exported and saved as regular motion files just like any other motion file in CTA. But because these are custom, any of the previous stuff wont work with them. But any new animation you create can be reused on the same prop as long as the prop itself is not modified.
