Hi, I just got FF3 with a new copy of Corel Paintshop Pro X7 Ultimate.

I thought this would be the bees knees!! but when I import any images which have been captured using my Plustek scanner they come up highly compressed horizontally, whilst the vertical dimension appears correct. I've tried resizing the images to well below the 1920 x 1920 threshhold and even cropping in PSX7 before importing but this makes no difference.

Images which are original digital photos seem to be OK.

As I'm new to FF I don't really know where to start, does anyone have any ideas please!?

Thanks, MickUnsure

Hi..

It sounds like your scanner software is saving the images in a non-standard format.

Have you tried saving them in Paint Shop Pro in a different format such as TIFF. This may allow you to open them with FF3 and retain the correct resolution.
