Just a little bit of further information for you regarding this issue.
We have done some testing. During our testing, we simulated an empty Unity scene, & loaded 3 CT characters (Cat, Scientist, Nobleman). After export out to an Android phone, the loading time is about 12 sec.
Please can you let us know how big the character sizes are when loaded, and whether your project also contains any scripts or other scene elements. This will help us understand where the problem is coming from.
Another method to optimize the process is below: -
As shown below, under "Texture" in the Inspector you can select "Non Power Of 2" and compress down to a 512 size. After a texture compression, the original 3 CT characters loading time can be reduced from 12 seconds to 8 seconds.
