Hi,

I am trying to add an MP3 song as background audio

but everytime I try to do so it will not load

I have tried several to make sure it wasn't just particular ones

this is the error message

Failed to load audio file.this is not a valid audio file.

The issue is only with MP3 SONGS that has the voice on

I can add MP3 with no voice, only music,

but I wish to add a song in the background

which I am unable to do.

Any Help much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi What do you mean by:

The issue is only with MP3 SONGS that has the voice on

Have you tried to import the sound file as sound fx1 instead of background music?

Hi There,

Many thanks for taking the trouble to reply.

Yes I have tried that,

After posting I tried some other mp3's that I found

& they imported just fine, unfortunately

they are not the ones I want to use in my project.

I simply can't understand why some mp3's won't

import.

Thanks again.

Try to convert the mp3 files to wav or wmv and see if they work when importing to CTA1.

Hi,

Thanks again for reply.

I have now converted the mp3s that would not import

into wav & they import fine (strange) some mp3s do some not

I now have another issue with music

how can you shorten the background music?

it just keeps playing as the length is too long.

Thanks in anticipation.

Unfortunately you have to edit the audio clip in an audio editor like Audacity
before importing it to CTA.

Hi

Thanks for reply.

I had begun to conclude that was the case.

How annoying when it would be so much simpler

to adjust within the project.
