The easiest method may be to DRAG an image file directly from Windows Explorer into your iClone window.
Use the RIGHT mouse button (assuming your mouse is not reversed for left-handed use).
You will get a menu with a few options:
- Image Layer
- Useful for a foreground overlay image
- Like an airplane cockpit, or if you were looking through binoculars
- Plane
- This is a "3D-plane" if you'll forgive the mash-up of terminology
- It can be rotated into position, and is like a wall prop that you can view from different angles
- Billboard
- This is a "floating plane" that is always parallel to your computer screen
- Even if you rotate your camera round, you always see this straight-on
- Background Texture
- This applies it to the background (like a sky)
Just do the right-drag using each option, move your camera around, and see what happens.
I think you'll like Billboard or Plane for "word balloons".
